When we come accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, God wants to build a relationship with us. In other words, He wants to get to know us on a personal level. As with all relationships, our relationship with God needs to be developed and strengthened. If we do not spend time with God, our spiritual life will grow cold and wither. Therefore, we have to make the time to be with Him in fact He should be our top priority.
