Vulnerability Maps for Food and Nutrition Insecurity

Talking about Food and Nutritional Security refers to a multi-causal panorama, where there are several indicators that must be joined to conclude a statistical, geographic and temporal panorama about the characteristics of our population to be studied; For this we consider its Four Pillars (Biological Utilization, Food Accessibility, Food Acceptability and Food Availability), which the Observatory on Food and Nutritional Security of the Universidad Veracruzana, houses different indicators in each of its sections and which serve to have a better picture of the study region, the State of Veracruz. The objective is to support the management of Public Food Policies, in terms of the correct direction of resources, it is necessary the interpretation of tools that reflect the social and health conditions of individuals living in defined areas.
