In this thought-provoking book refugees and asylum seekers in Greater Manchester tell their inspirational stories of hope, suffering, love and losses - to raise awareness of the difficulties they still face even after fleeing conflict and danger. They share their experiences hoping to raise awareness - but also to engage local and national decision makers and communities to bring about positive changes in social policy and provisions for refugees and people seeking asylum, and to help others in the same situation. All proceeds raised from the sale of this book go directly to Revive (Charity No: 227350) to help support refugees and people seeking asylum.
