How does one have an emotional connection to a parent you have never known? Any child who has no personal knowledge of a parent must rely on others to create an image of that parent sharing this common experience. There is a longing to know and a sadness that you have missed out on their physical presence in your life. A part of you that will always remain a mystery with no substantive answers.
