Visions, Regrets & Memories

As a very young child, I found that I had the gift of writing poetry. My delight knew no ends when at the age of 7 or 8 years, I had a few poems published in the Cape Times Junior section for which I received certificates. From then on there was no stopping me and I spent many hours scribbling away. Unfortunately those earlier poems have been mislaid, but I still continued writing when the mood took me. This collection is a journey over many years, inspired by many different circumstances and people who crossed my path along the way. V.v.R. Newcastle, KZN. July 2014
