Vengeance: A Crime Novel

It's wintertime in the seashore resort of Sandpiper, Maryland. Detective William Brogan is a hard-nosed, no nonsense ex-Baltimore City homicide detective. He is now the lead detective for Sandpiper Police Department. Winter is normally a slow time for police in Sandpiper, but suddenly, women are dying and an unknown killer is taunting the police. These deaths are ten years in the making and it is up to Brogan to unravel the mystery, catch the killer, and restore calm to his city. Little does Brogan know that the killer has also come for him. No one is safe and no one knows where the killer will strike next. This is a story of vengeance and revenge perpetrated by a predator who finds death extremely gratifying. The winter temperatures are no match for this cold-hearted killer.
