Zephyr wasn't always known as the Lord of Darkness. There was once a time when his wings were silken and pristine, wide and magnificent. But that was before the curse. Zephyr is an angel, a harbinger of light and goodness, before his own brother curses him, exiling him from the heavens and sending him crashing down to earth. Envious of his brother gaining God's favor, Lucifer Morningstar turned Zephyr into a beast of darkness, sentencing him to an immortal life on earth as a vampire. He is doomed to an isolated existence as a hated beast.But Morningstar's punishment takes on a new form, as Zephyr turns his curse into his strength. Destined to be a monster of darkness who prowled the earth, hungering for human blood, Zephyr decides to do something his brother hadn't anticipated.
