This book will cover the history of the U.S. Secret Service, from its formation by the authorization signed by Abraham Lincoln earlier in the day prior to his assassination the evening of April 14, 1865, to its present-day service protecting the president, vice president, their families, and visiting dignitaries from around the world. The Secret Service is still involved in rooting out money counterfeiters, cyber fraud, and many other frauds and dangers that are active and part of the world we live in today.
