Unmasking Epistemic Ignorance and Injustice

This book explores how non-knowing manifests in various forms of epistemic oppression- testimonial, hermeneutical, and narratival injustices- or as "epistemicide" which obliterates a given knowledge community's ability to generate, contribute, and disseminate knowledge. The author also traces as aspect of white male supremacy- specifically an epistemology of ignorance- through social structures like language, science, religion, and legislation.
