Ugly Truth

My name is Esther E. Laurenceau, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, East Flatbush. My family is of Haitian descent. Furthermore, I attended Metropolitan College of New York and earned my degree in human service in June 2019, and my masters degree in public administration June 2025. The Ugly Truth My Love Life Sucks! stems from my last traumatic toxic relationship which led to incarceration and ruined my livelihood. After a while, I got tired of venting and seeking advice from others who could not give me a solution. I needed something more because throwing a petty party was draining. I decided to stop internalizing the pain and began journaling by jotting down my thoughts, ideas on paper which gradually turned into chapters and my first published book. Other than writing, I love to travel out of the country.
