Turkey Tales of Jack and Jill and Ted and Bill

This unique picture book is cleverly composed of several rhyming and silly tales. The tales are mostly told by the characters Jack, Jill, Ted, and the turkeys of Turkey Hill. The books layout is similar to a simplified chapter book capturing the different voices of its characters. Many colorful synonyms such as horse-feathers, poppycock, dribble, and hogwash are spued about by turkey talking birds. The exceptional illustrations mimic collages that remind you that the pictures and tales are fabricated and assembled fiction. Author Robert Carr entertains us once again with his ingenuity.
