Tunisia's natural and cultural heritage and development

This book consists of three articles on the theme of natural and cultural heritage in Tunisia and its relationship with spatial planning. We have chosen to study three territories: two island environments: Jerba and Kerkena and a mountainous region: Kroumirie. The first article is entitled "Tourism and transport in two insular environments in Tunisia: the Kerkena archipelago and the island of Jerba". The second article is entitled "Redevelopment of the old districts of the Kerkena archipelago: the case of the village of Ouled Bou Ali". These two articles are a continuation of my doctoral thesis on the Kerkena archipelago. The third article, entitled "The Kroumirie mountains: a marginalised area with significant potential for alternative ecological and cultural tourism", concerns a mountainous area completely different from Kerkena and Jerba, which I studied when I taught at the Institut Sup rieur des Sciences Humaines in Jendouba from 2012 to 2017.
