Tull: The Guardian

No creature is without purpose. Nelson James Tull was purposed to defend those souls who survived the Accession of the First Creation: mighty souls born above who fell beneath.

As the war of the firstkind rages, Tull and his fellow guardians protect the Second Creation: souls of favor. The secondkind's warring, called the Era of Despair, ended four generations ago. Nations have fallen, their militaries have disbanded, and the former church collapsed beneath the weight of a hardened heart.

In a time of rebuilding, an era of reformers has worked alongside the firstkind to rid the land of starvation, homelessness, and disease to honor their mutual Creator. An era of peace lingers. But all is not well. The judges who govern the territories that the guardians defend become the targets of an unseen foe.
