Using both unpublished and newly released primary materials, they analyze and contextualize his poetry in relation to idealist philosophy, popular culture, anti-Semitism, feminism, and literary studies. One critic surveys Eliot's impressive but previously ignored contributions to radio journalism and several consider his controversial but assured centrality in the cultural life of the 20th century.
