Triumph Over Madness

To say depression is a state of mind would only diminish the vastness of the disease. Depression consumes the soul and strangles the life and any sense of worth from its victim until the victim wishes only to die to end the suffering. The victim feels overwhelmed by a sense of hopelessness, low self-esteem, insecurity, inadequacy, despair, and worst of all the fear of facing yet another day.
