Treemont the Turtle

Treemont the Turtle is the story about a turtle who is not happy with his life. He feels as though he needs to change himself mostly because it takes him so long to get from one place to another. He wants to be like other animals that moves quickly on land, in the water, and even in the air. So he searches for answers from friends he meets during a days journey along Laboona Beach. Treemont learns that true happiness will be found not in what he wants, but rather in what he already has. The story of Treemont the Turtle reminds readers of the uniqueness of all Gods creatures. It celebrates childrens uniqueness and helps children develop positive self-esteem.
