Travels through Washington DC and Civil War Sites

Washington D.C. is a city every American should visit. The many marble and stone monuments commemorating the significant, historic events of the United States are educational, awe-inspiring and pride-inducing. And when in Washington D.C. it isn't far to reach the grounds of many of the Civil War's greatest battles in Virginia and to two of its more significant conflicts at Gettysburg and Antietam. Visiting these war sites brings home the breadth and brutality of this "war between brothers".
