On September 1, 1939, England declares war on Germany. Over the next three days masses of children are evacuatedfrom the cities vulnerable to bombings of the Luftwaffe. From the bustling city of London to the quiet, open spacesof the Yorkshire Dales, three children, all ten years old, meeton a train.
