Today is NOT the Day We Die

In September 2020, Jim received a diagnosis of end-stage liver disease, which was accompanied by a Measure of End Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score indicating less than a 25% chance of surviving 90 days. However, rather than being the end of their story, Jim and his wife Kristi turned this challenge into an opportunity to rebuild their lives together.

The stories contained within these pages are not ones of self-pity and defeat, but rather of gratitude, acceptance, and triumph. Along their journey, the power of love, which transcends all obstacles, facilitated their healing.
