The text by David Warner explores the power of singing in worship; an alternative version to the text commemorates the contribution of the organ to sacred music over the centuries. Also included is the option to refer to Deity using the traditional pronouns 'thee', 'thou', and 'thy'. The score indicates a section where the well-known melody may be sung by the congregation.
