This second novel within The Ledbury Trilogy is set in and around the market town of Ledbury during the early months of 1970, with occasional action taking place elsewhere within England. A large complement of characters, of varying ages and temperaments, encounter situations which produce concern, stress, and tests of faith, with the exercise of practical prayer overcoming their individual problems, as they experience increasingly fulfilled lives within the materially orientated world in which they find themselves placed.
