Thoughts of a Rose

For so long I searched for what was missing. Blaming others for their faults and accusing them of neglect. Never really owning up to or accepting the most important role in it all - MINE A void that I continuously tried to fill with the love and acceptance of others, unbeknownst to me could only be occupied with the joy and light that stemmed from within. Digging through layers of pain and confusion, battling and defeating the "odds" - I came out soul nourished and mind refreshed. Despite all that was set in front of me to keep me under the dirt - I became in every sense of the word a rose. My journey to self acceptance, worth, and love can be used as a light to assist or guide others to the very same. I bare soul in hopes to help others awaken their very own
