Taha Hussein believes that the ancient Greek civilization with its great thinkers and artists was the most important tributary (or perhaps the only) of the modern European civilization, which all human beings benefited from its achievements, but the matter was not easy, the European thought went through continuous and long development stages throughout history, from the Greek Bedouin Poetry appeared as a necessity for a person to express his emotions and feelings, and tells some of his splashes in fictional images, so the great poetic epics were at the hands of "Homer" and other senior Greek poets. Then a person began to feel his need to realize, understand and explain the phenomena and events that happen around him, so he instead of organized mental effort, in which he criticizes every fixed in the light of the mind, so the philosophy that developed its subjects also and its discussions sought at the hands of the great professors such as; "Socrates" and "Plato" so that the journey of thought will continue to be punished night and day
