This unique volume offers fifteen original essays by leading scholars that explore the question of whether, and to what extent, Aquinas may (or may not) be considered a "common doctor" in theological and philosophical engagements today. With that unifying theme, the book begins with a foreword by Archbishop J. Augustine Di Noia, OP, and an introduction by the volume co-editors.
