Thinking Chinese Translation

Thinking Chinese Translation is a practical and comprehensive course for advanced undergraduates and postgraduate students of Chinese. It focuses on improving translation quality by showing in detail the roles of clarity, method and awareness of purpose in translation.The text aims to encourage students to think around and behind any text they translate, to be aware of the discourse of the text against the background of related texts and related discourses in the source and target language.
