Things That Secrets Cannot Hide

It's been five years since Detective Vic Lenoski took early retirement to help raise his granddaughter. But the shooting of an elderly man outside a cemetery reawakens his detective instincts. The victim is famous for a string of brazen armed robberies during the 1980s, and as Vic knows, the stolen money was never recovered. Offered a job with the Allegheny County Police-and urged by his wife to start working again-Vic is soon assigned the case. But when the killer strikes a second time, Vic realizes the only way to catch the murderer is to uncover the secrets surrounding that 1980s crime spree. But Vic's skills are rusty, someone is leaking information to the press, and Vic soon learns those secrets are protecting much more than just stolen money.
