After a serious car crash, Berlin loser Nico Pacinsky becomes increasingly delusional, believing that he is really Klaus Kinski. When he is contacted by a director pretending to be Werner Herzog, who wants to film the life of his best fiend with Nico in the leading role, an inter-dimensional journey through German culture begins.
