The main objective of this study was to conduct research to analyse the results of using educational software in the teaching-learning process and in improving the work of secondary/technical teachers at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais, S o Jo o Evangelista campus. It aims to strengthen the theory-practice relationship and thus identify the needs of teachers for the adoption of educational software geared towards secondary/technical education. Next, it aims to verify its suitability for the content taught, to indicate the most efficient ones in the teaching-learning process, and finally, to discuss the results of the use of educational software.
