The Ultraverse Chronicles: The Falcon

In a universe where superheroes are very real, a scientist, a geneticist, will try to unlock the secret behind The Alpha Gene, a gene directly responsible for supers and what they can do. However, an accident will mutate the gene into what become known as The Omega Gene. Now, Dr. Falcon and his assistant are the world's first super-mutants. Whenever someone steals his research, however, he creates a new super-mutant, Prowl: a super-mutant with incredible superhuman strength, and the ability to heal nearly instantaneously.
