The Sugar Attack

The Sugar Attack, a comic story by Trina Wiggins, MD, educates young people about the harmful effects of added sugar. Learning about these facts at a young age may mitigate some of the chronic diseases seen in adulthood. In this story, the villain Galactose begins to lure the unsuspecting people of planet Earth into an unhealthy life of sugar consumption. Dr. Trina learns of this plan and the harmful effects sugar is having on the population and decides to fight back. Will Dr. Trina successfully stop Galactose and the detrimental impact of sugar?
