According to the ancients: "The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly." Self-confidence guarantees that anyone, especially children can accomplish whatever they set their minds to. Adlyn Hylton's protagonist, Sydney Plinburn is just such an example. With help from his only parent, an active imagination and encouragement from his imaginary friend, Sydney grows into becoming a confident, compassionate individual whose desire for social involvement leads to his evolution as a leader.
