The Social Organisation of Healthcare Work

Considering the strong tradition of studies of health service organisation and healthcare delivery in medical sociology, this work aims is to build on these foundations, highlighting and developing the links between medical sociology and health policy, the sociology of professions, organisational sociology and language and communications studies.
