Landry Simon brought a lawsuit against four prominent Louisiana families over whether the lands, which were stolen by their ancestors from his, could be recovered from those who own the lands and assets today or--more specifically--should the poor descendants of today be compensated for their forefathers losses, based on the development of those lands and assets, which in some cases, have produced billions of dollars in revenue.
