This book is a compilation of my conversations with students stylized for easy consumption. I often discuss with young black and brown enthusiasts about their plan for success and a successful future. After 13 years of teaching in Chicago, recognizing the absence of African American Men in education I wanted to make my conversations accessible to every student. Every where. I discuss the thought processes needed to overcome strife, the need for constant growth and development, the importance of reflection and the necessity of community.
