The Sea-Wolf

This book is formatted in 14 point font for an easier read. (Not quite Large Print, but close). The Sea-Wolf is a nautical novel about a San Francisco writer who is washed out to sea after a ferry boat wreck in San Francisco Bay. It is a graphic description of his harrowing experiences after being rescued by a seal-hunting schooner, and its ruthless captain, on its way to Japan. It describes his coming of age as a man while enduring forced servitude aboard the ship, and his eventual escape, from the ship and captain, along with a young lady who was also a ship-wreck survivor.
