The Scepter of Artaxerxes

A golden scepter, once held by a dynasty of ancient Persian kings, travels to America as part of a museum exhibit. However, little do Detective Shawn McCormick, along with his curator wife, Maxine, know that with it also comes mystery, unexpected danger, and international intrigue that will turn their lives upside down. Is the artifact cursed as they were warned, or will the McCormicks figure out, before it's too late, a more sinister explanation as they peer into the long-lost secrets surrounding the scepter of Artaxerxes?
