Ranford Tremble has never wanted anything more than being a normal person. He is no guardian of the city or savior of the world. The very idea of these things bothers him. However, fate soon decides otherwise. After getting involved in a strange experiment and a bizarre kidnapping, he begins to speculate about what lies beneath the surface of people's everyday lives.
