Sam Guthrie and his two best friends love horses. As the story begins, Sam and Thomas watch George ride his stallion in a horse race. A surprise plan, a strange Indian trainer, two Thoroughbreds, a horse thief, a lawyer, and an orphan set the stage for another exciting race in early June. Can the plan really work?
