Each chapters reflects on a variety of themes from Isaiah 40-55: consolation, transcendence, servanthood, glory, sin, compassion, awake and deliverance. The book guides the reader to see how these themes keep emerging, how they are intertwined, and how they build up a complex message of hope, which is as relevant in our times as it was originally.
