The Prayer Quilt: Stitching my prayers

The best way to have a good day is start it with prayer so in the almost twenty years that we have been missionaries on the Amazon, I have awakened early enough in the morning to get in some prayer time before going to work. I found that I often got sleepy during prayer time if I didn't find something to keep me busy. So an old set of quilt block transfers given to me by my mother-in-law inspired me to make a quilt during my prayer time. This is the story of that marvelous quilt created to be a color book as well as a story book.
