The Patriarch

David was cast out of his home in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of Dallas. Texas. His parents drove him out into the cotton fields near Corsicana, where he found refuge from an elderly couple, Harold and Maggie Reynolds. A Mexican family of migrant cotton pickers took the young boy to the vast cotton fields of Texas where he became enamored of the migrant way of life. And he became enamored of the young Mexican girl, Rosa Maria Ramirez, who vowed to be forever faithful. Together David and Rosa Maria, Rosie, began the long and prominent line of sons and daughters that spanned many years and many regions of America.
