The Other Friendly Fire

A fictional account of rape in the military, "The Other Friendly Fire" sheds light on an issue that has been hidden for far too long. The main character Anita Marie tells her story of how rape affected every aspect of her life. She highlights the lack of support and concern shown her by the military and how it compounded the problems she faced. She tells the story of all those unheard voices who lived that same nightmare. Anguish, fear, sadness- all the emotions Anita Marie experience she shares on the pages of this book- so that others may understand.
