In 1942 New York City Police Detective Henry Fox, grieving over the loss of his son on the USS Arizona, is tasked with investigating the murders of six German-American immigrants. With the war going on and the nation battling the Axis powers, few want the case solved and impediments arise at every occasion. Assisted by Josephine (Jo) Hamilton, a sexy bisexual new breed of cop, leads are developed and the investigation forges ahead. After an Army soldier making a false confession, the outcome is far from certain.
