The Moscow Invitation: The CAUL, Part VII

James Markham accepts an invitation to lecture at the University of Moscow at the urging of the CIA to assist in the defection of a Russian General. The Chinese Intelligence Service enters into collusion with Russia to kidnap Markham which mobilizes the U.S. Navy to intercept the Russian submarine involved in the kidnapping. Markham voluntarily revisits Moscow under the guise of a French company employee to effect the defection of the scientist who initially invited him, and in their escape, they meet with treachery.
