The Middle East

This special issue of the highly respected Civil Engineering journal from the Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers focuses on the Middle East. Papers range from an outline of the history of development in the Middle East; to how principles of sustainability have been embraced and are currently being implemented in projects across the region; advances in understanding of regional geology and constraints to future development, to case histories on landmark projects which have paved the way for future developments.
