The Meletarians: (international edition)

Present day. The world has fallen to a bizarre infection. Roving bands of "Screamers", infected humans in their millions, are racing around at top speed, singing - well, *screaming* - "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", and nobody knows why. The Screamers raid a school, and a student conjures up a massive firestorm from thin air. Such a fire can only be created by a "Meletarian" - one of only three beings in the entire universe capable of moving heat around at will. The student, along with an accidental stowaway, is snapped up by a raving alien lunatic and whisked off on an interplanetary adventure where nothing is how it seems.
