The Last Hope

If Vladimir Smirnov cannot get the money for his mother's cancer treatments, she will die. This is why he left home, but the reason he stayed was bigger than he ever imagined.

Recruited by the biggest company on Earth to compete for the job of a lifetime, he and his team must survive in a VR simulation of the moon. Without the comforts of future Earth, they face starvation and a monster that could be hiding in the body of anyone around them. They must work through a series of trials backwards from the present, knowing that one thing out of place can cause a fatal lapse in the timeline.

For being the brightest young minds from around the world, his team is not as perfect as he could have wished. As friends become enemies and buried feelings rise to the surface, Vlad must learn to accept his emotions and stand up for himself as he learns to fight the monsters both inside and out, or risk losing everything to the catastrophe that lead the largest company on Earth to call these recruits their last hope.
