The Last Chosen

Accor Law does not want to become a Chosen. The Chosen lead troops into battle and fight armies of Shells and Blights. They are elite warriors with enhanced magical powers. They are heroes. Accor is just trying to keep his head above water. Each year, the Elders of Radia select two young adults to become Chosen and defend the world. Every youth aspires to become a Chosen. Well... almost every youth. Accor can't figure out magic, and he simply isn't cut out for battle. But when the Elders pick him, and he sees a vision of the impending apocalypse, he must work with his childhood friend and learn the art of magic to keep his squadron of soldiers alive and prevent the extinction of humanity itself.
