The Kora Player

The Kora Player invites us to admire the beauty of the southern lands, to hear the refrains of deepest Africa, to feel the suffering of the oppressed, to make their revolt our own and to wish that the forces of life triumph over the evils of humanity. The discourse of love takes on the magnitude of a metaphor of Africa marked by racial and political violence, but strong of its hopes.
