PROJOVEM URBANO is an important programme run by the Brazilian Federal Government aimed at the most disadvantaged sections of the population, with the aim of promoting social inclusion and providing job training. Launched in 2005 and expanded in 2008, it completed its ninth year of existence in 2013. This research consisted of listening to professionals who worked on the front lines of PROJOVEM URBANO's activities in municipalities, namely: general coordinators, educational advisors, and vocational training educators during 2013. In this sense, the objective of this work was to learn about the impressions, suggestions, and perspectives of these professionals on the development of the programme, identifying positive and negative points, possibilities for adjustments, suggestions for improvement, and challenges to be overcome. The results collected by education professionals in this work denote a consistent pedagogical political project and a curriculum proposal consistent with the aspirations of the target audience. However, administrative problems directly affect the development of actions and negatively impact their results.
